The Exhibition
Over fifty exquisite miniature paintings by Wes and Rachelle Siegrist are currently featured in an unprecedented and history-in-the-making international traveling museum exhibition. The exhibition began in July of 2010 with a premiere at the prestigious R.W. Norton Art Gallery in Shreveport, Louisiana which is known for its collection of historic portrait miniatures.
Currently encompassing 45 venues, 25 States, and Canada, Exquisite Miniatures is the largest exhibition ever to feature the work of active miniaturists. Hailed as world ambassadors for miniature art, the Siegrists enthusiastically share their enchantment with the genre through exhibitions, books, lectures, and demonstrations. The Exquisite Miniatures Tour has exposed thousands of museum visitors to the endearing and captivating world of miniature painting. Over 280 paintings have thus far been featured in the exhibition ranging in subject matter including still life, portraiture, landscape, marine and wildlife.*
